Depart Nairobi in the Morning for Masai Mara passing through the dramatic Great Rift Valley stopping at the view point. Ascend the western rim of the valley crossing the loita plains (maasai-land), see red-clad maasai warriors tend their multi-colored herds amongst plains game. Game viewing enroute to lodge for lunch. This morning, you will be awakened by the trumpeting of the Elephants as they came to quench around the pods at the Ark, after breakfast we drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Besides the flamingos that Lake Nakuru is famous for, there are approximately 400 other species of birds found there. In addition, a large variety of game can be found in the Park including the introduced Rothschild’s Giraffe, Black and White Rhino, Waterbuck, Reedbuck, Lion, Buffalo, Leopard, Baboon and many species of plains game.
